‘They [youth] are the firewood of this war’
A new group called the National Youth Crisis Management Committee attempts to keep youth from engaging in violence.

With the backing of the national government, the group says it will start a youth community service initiative to keep young people busy. They hope the effort, scheduled to start this month, will leave young people with less time to engage in fighting and cattle raiding.
